Saga in Åre

India!!

Hello my dear family! well, after years of yearning, I have finally made it to India. As many of you know, there is no place like it. I have only been here for 5 days, and have so much more to explore, but so far, I am really loving life. It reminds me a lot of Bali, where I did my semester abroad nearly 10 years ago, but is still fresh in my mind. Similar sights, smells and kindness of locals, but there are the elements that are succinctly Indian. The best Dahl, EVER, obviously, Saris everywhere, not just for special occasions which is how I grew up seeing them, here, they are in all places, even the beach ;) We are in Goa right now, enjoying the beach and overall relaxation with Kish, Linds, Vincent and Desmond. It is so very nice to be with them again, how I missed them... Kish, Linds and I all agreed that Goa would be a perfect place for a future Mangat Reunion, just in case anyone has thought of planning another ;) I will post pics soon, just wanted to check in and give some love. I love you all and being here makes me miss my family more than ever.

Dreaming of Africa

Hi Everyone

I'm so happy we have our family blog and now can hopefully share photos and experiences with everyone on a regular basis. As many of you know, Pablo and I were in Kenya in February with Anamika, Naveeta, Eric, Amrit Auntie and Teji Uncle. We had a wonderful time, albeit far too short! Hopefully we will be meeting each other on a regular basis because Pablo and Anamika got on like a house on fire (and at times we had to put out a few fires but that's to be expected!). 

It was a lovely 10 days - with 5 nights in Nairobi and 5 nights at the wonderful south coast - Galu Beach. The kids had a whale of a time and we adults managed to relax and enjoy those lovely Kenyan limes (in our Gin and Tonics!). The sun and sea did Pablo and I a lot of good after a long, cold winter here in Northern Europe. Unfortunately, that's still the case so our tans are fading fast. However - the pictures keep my spirits up and looking forward to the next holiday! I hope you enjoy the photos - especially of the two munchkins (we had at least 5 people ask us if they were twins!). Our new Blog!

Hello Cousins! Well, here is our new blog.. We are official now and can begin to share what is going on in our lives. Please let me know if you have any questions about this whole process and I will do my best to answer, and I know we have some other techie cousins too, so they can help also... I am enjoying another gorgeous day here in Denver, sunny and 55, with a bit of wind. I am working on revamping my jewelry website, as it has been several years since it has had a good update. My good friend Amanda here in Denver is a brilliant web designer, so I will soon have a fabulous new website to share. I have just started going back to Yoga this week and I am really sore!! I had forgotten how Yoga reaches the strangest and most unused muscles in the body. After only 2 classes back, I am feeling healthier already! I am missing Kishen, Lindsay, Vincent and Desmond quite a lot and cannot wait for our visit when Mom and I venture around India in April. Please let me know if any of you know of any family members we should visit, or special spots to see. I am so excited to finally see what its all about!! And of course, mom and I will come home with lots of beautiful textiles and beads!! Much Love to everyone, I can't wait to hear about what is going on with all of you!!
